New Jersey Landscape Design Project: Waldwick Family Fun For Everyone
FAMILY FUN FOR EVERYONE
This young family in Waldwick, NJ wanted to renovate their traditional backyard into one with multiple living spaces designed to entertain visitors of all ages. When designing the new backyard, we wanted to provide space for relaxation, entertainment, play, and privacy for the family.
An important aspect of the design was that the family wanted to create different areas for all family members to enjoy. The deck was renovated to provide a place to dine outside with enough room to invite plenty of company. Additionally, we installed an outdoor kitchen for all grilling needs.
At the base of the stairs from the deck are two separate patios. On one side of the deck is a paver patio with all the bells and whistles: outdoor television, a convenient gas fire table, spa, and multiple pieces of furniture for places to relax. On the other side of the deck, is a pea gravel patio featuring a wood burning fire pit for roasting marshmallows.
In this project, playing is for all ages! For the kids, there is open lawn space with room to play freely and a playset for them to utilize. For the adults, we installed a putting green in the corner of the backyard, a perfect place for the adults to improve their game or the kids to run around on. The pristine putting green adds a fun and recreational touch, all while being surrounded by meticulously maintained landscaping. Arborvitae have been placed along the new fence ensuring that over the years they will receive additional privacy as the trees continue to grow.
A luxurious hot tub is nestled among lush greenery and blooming hydrangeas, offering a serene escape.
This backyard is more than just an outdoor space—it’s a lifestyle.
Soft outdoor lighting enhances the ambiance, making this space just as inviting at night as it is during the day.
