Landscape Design Project in North Caldwell, New Jersey
NORTH CALDWELL SANCTUARY
When our clients from North Caldwell, NJ asked us to design a potential swimming pool in a narrow backyard with the driveway walls on one side and additional massive walls on the other side, we knew it would be a challenge.
What began as a simple grassy backyard with limited space was transformed into an outdoor living space with a swimming pool and cabana that met the family’s needs.
A custom pavilion became the focal point at one end of the pool. The pavilion includes recessed lights, a sound system and ceiling fan. We had just enough space to allow for a functional shaded area where the family loved to entertain.
Blending old with new is always a challenge, but this transformation now feels like a completely reimagined backyard retreat.
