Landscape Design Project in Montville, New Jersey

MONTVILLE CELEBRITY LANDSCAPE

One of our Montville, NJ clients had a beautiful home and wanted to create an elegant front planting to match the stunning architecture.

A bold combination of hydrangeas, colorful annual displays, and carefully structured evergreen elements were used to fill in the front along with two tall urns of annuals which framed the front steps and created a welcoming entrance.

Large statement containers anchor the front entry, overflowing with cascading vines and vibrant blooms that draw the eye toward the entryway. Reimagined planting beds now extend gracefully along the driveway and foundation walls, introducing waves of color and form that guide visitors to the front door.

The underwhelming front yard was transformed into a vibrant planting that enhances the architecture of the home and elevates its curb appeal. Originally, the space lacked structure, color, and seasonal interest, with minimal plantings that did little to complement the home’s grand façade. Our design goal was to create an exuberant, layered foundation planting that frames the architecture, softens the hard lines, and provides year-round beauty.

Before

After

Our design connected the existing swimming pool to the rest of the backyard with a new grand staircase which we aligned with the existing spa, so that the stairs felt like they were always there. CLC’s project manager meticulously investigated the existing wallstone on-site and was able to track down a quarry in Rhode Island from which the wallstone had originally had been sourced 15 years earlier. For the new staircase we ordered our veneer stone from the same quarry to provide seamless integration of the new steps.

In the above photo we see how CLC’s designers integrate our client’s favorite flower-white Hygrangeas-into a prominent location in the landscape for the homeowners to view and enjoy from both their outdoor daybed and all the windows from the back of the house.
