Landscape Design Project in Livingston, New Jersey

For years my wife and I discussed building a pool in our backyard. Since the majority of our backyard has an easement running through it, we needed a company who has experience with complex projects, partners with the right subcontractors, and is familiar with our town’s regulations. I reached out to CLC Landscape Design and Rich Cording, the owner, took time to review our survey to confirm that a pool was feasible given the easement.

We first met with Frank, our landscape designer, who had all the right landscaping / pool design ideas. After incorporating the things that we really wanted as part of our pool/backyard redesign, he came back with 3 different landscape designs that really brought our vision to life.

Once we landed on the right design, CLC began the process to transform our backyard to our dream oasis. Gary, our project manager, who never missed a beat, seamlessly coordinated the team and all the subcontractors to get the job done timely and without any issues. He was always thoughtful in his communications and execution of the work. I couldn’t have asked for a better project manager.

The project entailed a 34×16 pool, decking and bluestone pavers, fire pit, retailing/seat walls, rockeries, landscape lighting and Rich Jr’s artistic selection of plants and trees, which he strategically placed to truly stand out! While CLC employees each have a craft of their own, I have to call out Delfino, who was the “on the ground one-of-a-kind” guy that gets the work done with perfection!

CLC far exceeded our expectations with this complicated project! We are absolutely in love with our new backyard! Highly recommend them if you are looking for the best in the industry. The proof is in the pictures…
